The UK’s first Barefoot Shoe and Foot Health Expo is coming to the West Midlands this weekend!
Described as a “landmark event”, the show will bring together over 25 barefoot shoe brands, foot health experts, and retailers for one day of education, connection, and natural movement.
The expo will run from 10am to 4pm (with staggered entry at 10am and 1pm) on Sunday 21 September at Cranmore Park in Shirley.
The show is expected to draw both the public and industry professionals, and is designed to be the first of an annual series, reflecting the growing appetite for barefoot footwear in the UK and the increasing awareness of its benefits for posture, balance, and overall foot health.
Exhibitors and sponsors include leading names such as Vivobarefoot, The Foot Collective, El Naturalista, Paperkrane, Be Lenka, Barebarics, Inch Blue, alongside a wide range of international and UK-based brands including Vibram, Froddo, Freet, Muki Shoes, Groundies, Magical Shoes, Xero Shoes, Peerko, CRAVE, Doghammer and more. Several UK retailers and agencies will also showcase multiple brands, making the expo the most comprehensive barefoot marketplace the UK has seen.
In addition to the exhibition, the event will feature expert talks and Q&As, including Jim Dooner from The Foot Collective, podiatrists Rina Harris and Andy Bryant, Freet founders Andrew and Daisy Jackson, and holistic therapist Nicola Pike.
“This is more than just an event about shoes, it’s about reshaping how we think about foot health in the UK,” said organiser Brittany Balinski, known online as Barefoot Brit. “For many people, this will be their first opportunity to try barefoot shoes in person, compare different brands side by side, and hear directly from experts. Our hope is that the expo becomes a regular fixture in the footwear calendar, helping both consumers and retailers embrace this growing movement.”
The expo is designed for anyone interested in natural footwear: from families and fitness enthusiasts to healthcare professionals and shoe retailers looking to discover new suppliers.
