MICAM is renewing its exhibition layout, kicking off at the next show edition in Fiera Milano Rho from 22 to 24 February.
Show organisers are transforming product displays into an opportunity for encounters and dialogue among all players in the supply chain. The result is “a more fluid and readable layout – one that is both more effective for exhibitors and more welcoming for visitors,” they said.

For the February edition, Hall 1 at MICAM will host footwear ranging from elegant special-occasion styles to everyday comfort; Hall 3 will showcase creativity and style for footwear that goes beyond formality; Halls 2 and 4 will highlight innovation and contemporary design for shoes that reflect the evolution of fashion and taste; Hall 5 will feature footwear that embodies global styles and trends.
MICAM’s institutional areas – including the VIP Buyers Lounge, the Restaurant and the Press Office – will be strategically located at the back of Hall 1. MICAM Next, featuring seminars curated by WIRED Italia, the Trends & Materials area, trend presentations and the Buyer’s Guide, will be positioned at the back of Hall 3 alongside the Emerging Designer and Future of Retail areas, creating a hub dedicated to innovation and new industry trends.
At the centre of Hall 5, the collaboration with MIPEL – the international leather goods fair – will be strengthened and move to the front section of Hall 5. The goal is to offer visitors of both events an integrated, contemporary experience rich in high-value content.
Within the Hub, MICAM Academy and MIPEL Factory will merge into a single entity combining training, research, technical experimentation and professional development. This dynamic, participatory environment is designed to foster continuous learning and relationship-building, where companies and buyers from the footwear and leather goods sectors can meet, exchange ideas and network.
Completing the experience will be a product area showcasing footwear and bags interpreted through three macro-trends for the Autumn/Winter 2026–2027 season, along with a relaxation area designed to offer visitors comfortable moments of pause.
Giovanna Ceolini, MICAM President, said the February Winter edition of MICAM was created with the aim of enhancing the footwear supply chain…
“We’re presenting a contemporary image of the sector and offering an immersive experience where business, entertainment, training and innovation intertwine in a design path tailored to buyers and exhibitors. We have launched a comprehensive revision that will begin in February and continue in the following editions, to make the visit increasingly simple and intuitive and to allow buyers to clearly identify the product categories in each hall.”
