Clarks has opened a new store at 11 Boulevard de la Madeleine in Paris, strengthening its presence in the French capital and providing further momentum for its growth plans across France and Europe.
The new location is Clarks’ second store in Paris and is situated in one of the city’s most prominent retail districts, close to Place de la Madeleine and the major shopping destinations of Boulevard Haussmann.
Its opening represents the latest step in Clarks’ strategy to increase its physical retail presence in France. The company plans to open three further stores in the country before the end of 2026, taking the brand into new locations and making its footwear more accessible to French customers.
The Paris opening also forms part of a broader expansion programme across Europe. During 2026, Clarks has opened or secured new locations in several key markets, including France, Italy, Spain, Belgium and the UK.
Alongside its investment in physical retail, Clarks has expanded its European wholesale network. For the Autumn/Winter 2026 season, the company began working with 120 new multi-brand accounts across Europe and the UK, supporting greater distribution of the brand through selected retail partners.
Joe Ulloa, President, UK & Europe at Clarks, said: “The opening of our new store on Boulevard de la Madeleine is an important moment for Clarks in France and a clear demonstration of our confidence in the market. Paris is one of the world’s most influential retail and fashion destinations, and this new location gives us an excellent platform from which to introduce more customers to the quality, comfort and design that have defined Clarks for more than 200 years.
“This is our second store in Paris, but it is only one part of our ambition for France. With three further openings planned in the country this year, we are building a stronger retail network while also expanding through wholesale and other channels. France is central to our wider European growth plans, and we see significant potential to build a larger, more relevant and more accessible Clarks business here.”
The expansion follows Clarks’ return to profitability in 2025, when the company reported an operating profit of £66.3 million and ended the year with no bank debt.
